“Where words fail, music speaks.”
– Hans Christian Andersen
The Mission
At Vocal Vibes, my mission is to empower individuals of all backgrounds to discover their unique sound and build confidence through music. As a self-taught musician, I believe that passion—not perfection—is what drives growth.
About Me
Music has always been a part of my story. I come from a family filled with musical talent, where songs and instruments were always present, shaping the rhythm of our lives. Growing up, I was lucky enough to see how music could bring people together, inspire creativity, and leave lasting memories.
I started my own journey in band, learning the discipline of practice and the joy of performing as part of something larger than myself. Soon after, I found choir, and that became my home. I carried that love through graduation, singing in ensembles and building some of my favorite memories around the sound of voices rising together.
But after school, something changed. Life moved forward, but music didn’t follow me in the same way. The absence was subtle at first — the silence felt normal. But slowly, I realized how much it had affected me. Life without music was quieter, yes, but also dimmer and less full of wonder.
That realization hit me unexpectedly when I hosted a music viewing party, sharing performances from musicians across Europe. I still remember being struck by the incredible sound, the raw talent, and the emotion pouring through each performance. It was like rediscovering a part of myself I had forgotten. In that moment, I knew: life without music is far too quiet, too disenchanted.
Since then, music has found its way back into every part of my life. I’ve had the privilege of watching it inspire not just me, but my husband, my family, my friends, and now my students. Music is more than notes or technique; it’s a language of connection, a way to express who we are when words aren’t enough. Tha
t’s why I teach. My goal is not only to help students grow in skill and confidence, but also to help them discover the same joy, spark, and inspiration that music has given me throughout my life. Whether it’s voice, piano, guitar, or performance, I want every lesson to be more than practice — I want it to be a reminder of how powerful and life-giving music can be.
